Singapore trip: Part three.

Words are practically spilling out of my mind slash fingers however my brain cells will not allow me to compose these thoughts quick enough so... let pictures-are-worth-a-thousand-words do the work!

Breakfast at the hotel was scrumptious.

Even though my favourite pancakes weren't included,

at least muffins were served :D

I suggested Sean to sit up straight,

and this is what he gave me. So cute!

Daddy and Mummy.

Pretty Mummy.

I had to plead Ken and Sean thrice to look at the camera.

Above all, I still love my brothers.

-

Daddy just brought Ken out for dinner at Taipan, that leaves me alone at home since I insisted to stay. Daddy persuaded me for quite some time but gave in at last because he understood my reason. And here it is - I am not hungry and I don't feel like eating. Farcical, eh? Usually by this time, I could eat a horse. Hmm, wonder what is wrong with me. Maybe all the homework and hectic schedule are the culprit of my currently not-so-huge appetite.
To the broiling weather,

I had enough of your mood swings.

I mean it. For the entire time in the classroom today I couldn't concentrate on what the teachers were teaching. I told myself to feel free and don't feel bad to point all ten fingers at the sweltering weather. No seriously, the whole blistering afternoon at school I felt I was being heated up in an oven. My lips felt parched even after drinking plenty of water.

The air was so torrid I astonished myself by stepping out of the classroom alive when school ended. Even so, I was perspired, as though I had just gotten a shower or danced in the rain - on a second thought, maybe not. It does not take a genius to tell that it is almost impossible and absolutely nonsensical that the sky will rain in THIS kind of weather.

Perhaps he *points below can cool me down - in fact, he melts ;)

p/s: You know what, Suen?
I think the both of us are going to die laughing over Angelin's jokes.
Tomorow will be better.

My first day at school in morning session went swimmingly. Though this may be something gratifying to you but as ironical as this may sound, I left school with a taste of disappointment at the tip of my tongue. Unorthodox, I know.

Well, I didn't exactly felt despondent, just crestfallen. You see, I wanted today to turn out miraculous or prominent - not just a day without a hitch. But after I went through today, I decided I was wrong to put my hopes up too high.

On a brighter note, I have a feeling tomorrow will be better. I just know :)
Singapore trip: Part two.

After lunch, we went to Sean's room in the hostel to help unpack his luggage.

Of course, between all the tidying up,
how could we EVER allow cam whore session to be discriminated?

Nope, not flash, sunlight was the culprit.

Dearest Sean.

Fatigue took over but the above pictures of us smiling broadly proved our fervor and satisfaction when we witnessed how methodically neat Sean's room transformed into after all the strenuous cleaning and sprucing up we done.
Singapore trip: Part one.

No pictures were taken on the first day we were in Singapore so here are the pictures captured in Sean's secondary school - Hwa Chong Institution on the second day.

We had lunch at the opulent and monumental school-cafeteria.

Seriously, it is at least five times bigger and
definitely a million times cooler than the grotesque canteen in our school.

I finished everything except for the meat.
Well, I am a half-vegetarian as mentioned in one of my previous post.

Us grinning gleefully for the camera before laying hands on our meals.

Daddy and his famous beam :D

I must be the luckiest sister on earth
to have Ken and Sean as my brothers.

And I must be the luckiest girl in the whole wide world
to be the daughter of my two amazing parents.
Bring in 2010.

Back from Singapore trip, healthy and happy!

-

To start this off, let me begin by wishing all of you a Happy, happy New Year! I find it really hard to bid goodbye to the year of 2009, but all the experiences will be carved deep in the core of my heart, buried deep in my strongest memory and never be forgotten. It was a year full of excitements and pleasures; of happiness and heartaches; of surprises and upsets; but most of all... of true love.

Deep in my heart, I know that there is so much more in life, if you are willing to reach for it. Life is a great teacher, because it gives you insight and awakens you, something books can never do... life in 2009 has certainly taught me well. Indeed, there may be some parts of 2009 I would like to leave behind - but there sure is a lot, lot more I would like to take with me. Out with the old, in with the new. I loved the old, but the new is waiting, sparkling, taunting, promising, scintillating.

Bring in 2010.
Wonderful! How could it be anything else?

My family and I are going to Singapore tomorrow! :D

-

Even though we have been to Singapore for a thousand times,
but this time will turn out different. Completely different.
Not only we are going to celebrate New Year in another country,
but... err, will explain further on this topic when I return.

Meanwhile, delight me with some comments in my cbox, yeah?
Thank you readers, I love you all.
